Episodes is an offline-first journaling app developed by algormula Pte. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how Episodes handles your information.

What information we collect

Episodes does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on remote servers.

All your journal entries, photos, tags, and settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your data, and we never will.

Permissions Episodes uses

To provide its core features, Episodes asks for the following device permissions:

Data storage and encryption

Your journal entries are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. Exported .episodes files are encrypted on-device before being saved or shared.

Third-party services

Episodes does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services.

Children's privacy

Episodes is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
